Since buying co-ownership stake in electronics company Monster, Swizz Beatz has been representing the brand in any way possible. Duty recently called for the Grammy winning producer to host/DJ a party that took place during the ongoing International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014.
Coined “CES 2014 Monster Takeover,” the festive event took place at the Marquee at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, where a packed venue danced the night away. Prior to hopping on the ones and twos, Swizz spoke with Boss Lady NYC on the red carpet.
“Coming from The Bronx and coming from the projects to having billion dollar partners, and being able to change culture. Being able to change billion dollar companies just with my craft, my ideas, and my passion, and more than anything, and dedication; you know, people understand what it is at the end of the day,” said Swizz, speaking on his success.
Among those in attendance was future NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, who accompanied Swizz Beatz on stage while he performed his set. See a video recap below and photos on the following pages.
