The Swollen Members, Canada’s popular Hip-Hop quartet, are gearing up to perform at this year’s 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Madchild, Prevail, Trey Nyce and Rob The Viking will hit the stage in Whistler, British Columbia to be featured performers for the night’s “Whistler Live Fire and Ice” party.
Taking place Monday February 15th, the group’s been practicing for the festivities which according to Prevail will be a “career highlight.”
“For Swollen Members to play an official Olympic event in our own city is a milestone and a great honor. This performance will give us a chance to be seen by the whole world and this is going to be a career highlight for all of us.“
In addition to performing at the winter Olympics, the group is preparing to release their “Greatest Hits” album on March 16th. In support of the project, they’ll tour the U.S. alongside Humboldt County hip-hop duo Potluck throughout February and March.
