A New York doctor says he was booted off a Spirit airlines flight after asking for water for his pregnant wife.

Dr. Mitchell Roslin says that he was asked to leave the plane with his pregnant wife and two children in tow after asking for water on a Spirit Airlines flight.

The doctor says that he and around 200 other passengers were  stuck on the runway after the cabin overheated.

When he continued to ask for water for his pregnant wife, he tells the New York Post that flight attendants told him it was “against corporate policy” to give him water before the plane took off.

When he persisted he was asked to leave.

When the New York Post tried to contact the airline company they did not return phone calls.

Spirit Airlines did however reach out to HipHopWired about their account of the story.

According to Spirit Airlines representative Misty Pinson, this is a factual account of what really happened on the aircraft:

Dr. Ronsin violated federal law by interfering with a flight crew.

Dr. Roslin made verbal references to terrorism.

Dr. Roslin’s continued disturbance caused further delays to the flight.

Dr. Roslin’s son kicked a Spirit employee in the groin.

Dr. Roslin attempted to incite other passengers to the point that another passenger started to cry in fear as a result of his behavior.

He had to be removed from the aircraft by law enforcement.

HipHopWired thanks Spirit Airlines for sharing their account of the incident and for allowing us to provide our readers with factual information.
