Police have 21-year-old Shamsiddin Abdur-Raheem in custody after they say he confessed to throwing his 3-month old daughter off a bridge in New Jersey.
Police are searching for the child off the Garden State Parkway’s Driscoll Bridge in the Raritan River.
They report that Raheem took little Zara Malani-Lin Abdur-Raheem from her grandmother’s home and fled before being found hours later at a relative’s.
When they asked him where his daughter was he admitted to throwing the baby off the bridge.
He and the child’s mother are not currently together and she had a restraining order against him.
SMH….what kind of monster would do this to their own child?!
