Police in Philadelphia have shut down a doctor’s office after making a gruesome discovery, nearly two dozen frozen fetuses stored, some appearing to be 30 or more years old.
An investigation into the office began after a patient died during an abortion.
When police came to search the office, they found the establishment in “deplorable and unsanitary” conditions, noting that there were bloodstains on the floor.
Following that they found fetuses and parts of fetuses stored in a freezer in jars, some from as much as 30 years ago.
They’re currently investigating to see if they are results of illegal late-term abortions.
The doctor at the office, Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s license has been temporarily suspended.
