A group of cheerleaders in Texas is facing disciplinary action after authorities say the pulled a prank on several of their fellow teammates and spiked their drinks with urine.
Members of the Saginaw High School cheerleading squad have received in school suspension and lesser penalties for the incident that happened late winter.
The girls were at a basketball game when the teammates gave them the tainted drinks. When the girls complained that the drinks tasted bitter, the other girls lied and said they poured bitter candy into them.
One girl is accused of peeing into the cups and then giving the drinks to the girls while others watched and laughed.
The girls that were tricked into drinking the liquid have decided not to press charges.
The girls will not be allowed to participate in cheerleading events for the rest of the year.
Way to show team spirit…smh.
