Eve got married over the weekend to Maximillion Cooper, founder of the Gumball 3000 motor rally. He also happens to be a White guy worth an estimated $50 million, and Twitter just can’t seem to comprehend their new union.
In case you’re unfamiliar, Eve was born and raised in South Philly, and she used to date Stevie J at one point in her life (we all make mistakes). The city she was born in, paw-print tattoos on her chest, the fact that she’s Black, and a whole bunch of other meaningless factors made it hard for people to believe that Cooper would want to marry her.
Motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and apparent relationship expert Dr. Farrah Gray took trolling Eve a step further by declaring that  “Black Men Are Outraged” over the marriage. Outraged huh? That’s a pretty strong word. Nonetheless, 50 percent of those polled (close to 5,000 people) agreed that a Black woman marrying a White man bothers Black men.
Because Twitter is a fun, foolish, and funny forum, there was lots to be said about Eve’s wedding. Peep some of the reactions below.
