Dave Chappelle added a musical dynamic to his string of Radio City Music Hall show in New York City, and he’s since performed alongside Nas, Erykah Badu, and more. Last night, the comedian was joined by Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli, otherwise known as Black Star.
The Brooklyn bred duo reunited for Chappelle’s last night in the Big Apple. More surprisingly, Bey (formerly Mos Def) was performing in the flesh on United States soil after he was reportedly banned from the country for “immigration/legal issues” in May. But there he was performing fan favorites like “Umi Says” and “History.”
Kweli also had a surprise up his sleeve, as he was joined by producer Hi-Tek to briefly form Reflection Eternal on stage. See footage from the epic show below and on the following pages.
