Fairweather fans and members of the Hip-Hop community all had a mouthful to say about LeBron James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Yet both aforementioned sects were seriously interested in how his teammate Dwyane Wade would take the news. The longtime Miami Heat guard was heavily doused with online slander, speculating that the loss of James (and perceived deflection of Chris Bosh) would all but devastate him, but he released a statement through the Associated Press that reads quite the opposite.
Wade thinks it was a great “Decision.” The 32-year-old star, who has decisions to make on his own, released a statement through Tim Reynolds calling LeBron his “brother” and referring to them as champions.
In other free agent news, Carmelo Anthony’s resigning with the New York Knicks has been confirmed, Paul Pierce is rumored to join the Washington Wizards where as Pau Gasol may be in a Bulls uniform next season.
As for Bosh, it is being reported that he’s sticking with the Miami Heat for big money. Which should make Wade’s next announcement that much more interesting.
