A former NYPD narcotic detective has been arrested after reports surfaced that he forced the girlfriend of a suspected drug dealer to perform a sexual act in a bathroom at the police station.
Federal authorities allege that Oscar Sandino victimized at least two other women under similar circumstances during his tenure as a police officer.
Since the initial discovery of the pending allegations in 2008, Sandino has been removed from active duty. Authorities arrested Sadino on Tuesday (May 18) on charges of misdemeanor sexual misconduct.
