Jeezy Jeezy just got out on bail for felony possession of a firearm. He pleaded not guilty.
What’s with all the weapons guys? It seems like gun charges follow rappers like bees to honey. Whether it’s on a tour bus, or in a parking lot right before the BET Awards, everybody gets caught up once in a while.
Bobby Schmurda entered his name onto that list, following right behind news of Jeezy gun arrest mishap. Ironically, this was also the week that Game enlisted his rap Rolodex to record “Don’t Shoot” (different concept, but gun violence is still the issue).

Jay Z Hov got arrested for illegal gun possession back in 2001.
50 Cent 50 Cent’s gun charge came in 2003, when police found a weapon in the SUV that he was riding in.
Lil Wayne NYPD found a gun on Weezy’s tour bus in 2008. He later pleaded guilty to attempted possession of a weapon, and served eight months on Riker’s Island.
Lil Cease Cease’s weapons possession charge stems from a 2001 incident, where a Brooklyn man was shot in the leg. A judge sentenced him to five years of probation in 2003.
Trick Daddy This past April Trick Daddy caught the shaft, when authorities searched his home earlier in the year. He was arrested for cocaine possession and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Gucci Mane In September of last year Gucci Mane got arrested for gun and marijuana possession. Since he’s already a convicted felon, Guwop was staring down more than 15 years in prison, but he ended up getting three years.
Young Buck Young Buck’s gun conviction stems from a 2010 IRS raid on his house. He pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, and was sentenced to 18 months.
Snoop Dogg Uncle Snoop was arrested for possession of a gun by a convicted felon, along with a marijuana charge in 2006. He pleaded no contest to the felony charges and received probation and community service.
Petey Pablo
Petey Pablo was arrested for trying to carry a gun on an airplane, on 9/11/2010. He had to know that wouldn’t fly.
Master P Master P and Silk the Shocker (not pictured) were each charged with carrying an unregistered firearm in 2005. P pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge and received 40 hours of community service and a $700 fine. His brother pleaded guilty to a felony charge and received three years probation, along with community service and a fine.
Lil Reese Lil Reese’s arrest for gun possession is fairly recent. He was busted in July.
