The Love & Hip Hop brand has been expanding rapidly since 2011, making stars out of the unknowns (like the Puerto Rican Princess), and helping the moderately and well known (i.e., Soulja Boy) back into public relevancy.
Reality TV can be a crap shoot, since there’s no way to determine who will be able to use the attention as platform for their “artistry,” and more and more recording artists are trying to make it work. Check out what the LHH artists have been up to since joining (and leaving) the franchise.

Saigon LHH kind didn’t show Saigon in the best light. All the yelling and screaming with his baby’s mother, landed him with Iyanla Vanzant trying o fix their lives, and maybe it worked. Saigon’s new album, The Greatest Story Never Told Chapter 3, will be out this year.
Somaya Reese Somaya “Boss” Reese has been keeping her body on point since her Love & Hop Hop days. She has a new single and out and a fitness book on the way.
Teairra Mari Music didn’t come out of Teairra Mari’s first lap ’round the Love & Hip Hop track. She’s back for Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, and maybe new music will follow. Her first and last album dropped in 2005.
Consequence After that fight with Joe Budden at the reunion, Love & Hip Hop became a bad fit for The Cons. He’s off the show now, and has a new single out called, “You Should Bounce.”
