Love him or hate him, and as one of the leaders of the new school of Hip-Hop, Wale has quite the reputation that proceeds him. The Breakfast Club caught up with the DC native and naturally he had a lot to talk about.
After most recently cutting his business ties from Roc Nation, Wale is still as misunderstood as ever. But at this point is the public’s fault? That’s the big question he raises.

1. Roc Nation
Wale was one of the first to sign to Roc Nation. He felt they were going into a sports direction while his focus now are brand partnerships.
2. Anxiety
Wale did confirm he suffers from anxiety attacks.
3. Lady Gaga
Did you know Lady Gaga was damn near naked and twerking in the original cut of the “Chillin” video.
4. Mark Ronson
Wale also cleared up the rumor that Mark Ronson discovered him. Ironically someone put the bug in Mark’s ear about Wale’s music and even then Mark was hesitant to sign him.
5. The Album
His new album is almost done. Surprisingly it is not jam packed with features as Usher and Jerimah are the only featured artists thus far.
6. Nudes
You won’t catch Wale nudes hitting the internets any time soon. All he sends girls are emojis and ticket confirmations.
7. Meek
The Meek Mill diss stunned him as he had no ill will towards his label mate. He hasn’t been granted visitation rights to go see him but Wale confirms he stays in contact with Meek’s team.
8. Kendrick
He does get upset when he puts out a record and it doesn’t get the reception a Kendrick Lamar record would receive. He wants the public to define him off his entire catalog including his more provocative records including “Black Heroes”.
9. Stand Off
Wale comes off as a standoff in public as he always is getting people Tweeting that they are at the same place ready to slap him.
10. Jerry
Jerry Seinfeld’s contribution to the album is more inspirational as he will share life lessons with Wale that he will turn in to subject matter.
