Whether it’s giving minimal quotes about his clothing collaborations or what he and his wife are doing at any given moment, it’s easy to forget the reason we care about Kanye West so much is the wonderful music he has created. Along with that, we can also neglect just how many knocking tracks he has produced in his career.
With that in mind, we decided to reminisce about 11 of Kanye West’s freshest beats, that you may have forgotten about. Before you get your panties in a bunch, we focused on tracks he cooked up for other artists, that aren’t obvious selections.
Let’s start with…
Lil’ Kim – “Came Back For You”
This is from Kimmy Blanco’s La Bella Mafia album. This makes it worth a revisit.

Consequence ft. Kanye West – “The Good, The Bad, The Ugly”
Too bad Cons and Yeezy’s relationship went bad, because this track here. Man.
Beanie Sigel – “Nothing Like It”
“The Truth,” the title track from B Mack’s debut, was one of West’s early heaters. But “Nothing Like It,” the opener from his sophomore album, The Reason, was powerful in its own right.
Ludacris – “Stand Up”
When Ludacris couldn’t lose, West helps out with this thumping groove. Backpack Yeezy in the video cameo (2 Chainz, too).
Talib Kweli ft. Black Thought & Pharoahe Monch – “Guerrilla Monsoon Rap”
Speaking of backpacks, do you see this line up? Of course “Get By” was the bigger West produced record featuring that Soul sample Yeezy sound is a gem. Those strings…
Cam’Ron – “Dead Or Alive”
Yeezy and Killa have made a bunch of joints. This is one of the lesser appreciated cuts.
Jay Z – Twista, Killer Mike, & Big Boi – “Poppin’ Tags”
You forgot Killer Kill from Adamsville was on a track with Jigga, didn’t you. One of the better cuts from The Blueprint²: The Gift & the Curse.
Royce Da 5’9 – “Heartbeat”
This is unreleased probably due to sample clearance issues. The Internets would have none of that, though.
Alicia Keys – “You Don’t Know My Name”
You gotta admit, this song was hella stalkerish. Buttery smooth track nonetheless.
Diddy ft Nas & Cee L0 – “Everything I Love”
Nas didn’t let Yeezy producing “The Takeover” stop him from hopping on this one. This album track surely isn’t throwaway filler material.
Talib Kweli – In The Mood
Being an early believer in Yeezy paid off for Mr. Kweli. This one off Ear Drum goes.
