With fashion maven Karl Lagerfeld at the helm, Pharrell and supermodel Cara Delevingne have starring roles in the upcoming Chanel film and campaign, due to premiere at the Métiers d’art collection in Salzburg next week.
Lagerfeld used his Austrian heritage as inspiration while simultaneously taking cues from pop culture during the creation of the visual. As expected, an original song by Pharrell, which is actually a duet with Delevingne titled “CC the World,” serves as the musical backing.
The short film, titled Resurrection, debuts on December 1, a day prior to the Paris-Salzburg Chanel fashion show at the Schloss Leopoldskron. Peep a preview via a clip below. Hit the jump for a behind the scenes photos.
