Since Angie Martinez made the switch to Power 105 FM, the masses have waited patiently for her defining moment on her new station. The Breakfast Club caught up with the voice of New York to discuss this and more.

After completing the ING New York City Marathon, Angie is still pursuing her passion to help Latinos advance their knowledge on healthy living.

While her efforts are very commendable, The Breakfast Club stuck to their guns and wanted some tea. DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne The God got her to talk about her cooking book, the new gig, T.I., Diddy and not performing “Ladies Night” at The Soul Train Awards.

So we present the top 10 thing we learned from The Breakfast Club Angie Martinez interview. Do you believe her when she explained her beef with Diddy? Sound off below.

“Ladies Night”

She didn’t perform at the Soul Train Awards because she was running the New York City Marathon the week after and was already injured.

Charlamagne

She feels Charlamagne has the ability to make guests comfortable but his honesty can get him in trouble sometimes.

The Champ

Charlamagne admitted that he felt bad for leaking the audio of Floyd Mayweather struggle reading a drop. He apologized.

Healthy Latin Eating

Her book isn’t a diet but more so a healthy alternative to classic Latin dishes.

The Marathon

She was injured before the marathon but wanted to finish it for the cause and monies she raised. During the first mile she knew it was a mistake and aggravated her injury even worse.

Roc Nation

She feels her move to Roc Nation was the right fit in terms of the direction she is taking with leaving HOT 97 and syndication.

Diddy

During the 90’s Angie felt in a ways about how Diddy was moving regarding the alleged east coast west coast beef. He in turn wasn’t feeling some of her moves hence their relationship wasn’t much of one for many years.

T.I.

She regrets how she handled her latest T.I. interview where she insisted he spill the tea about his wife Tiny.

DJ Drama

Speaking of apologies, DJ Envy mentioned Drama said sorry to him regarding their differences that they spoke on in a Breakfast Club interview earlier this year.

J. Cole

She admires J. Cole as an artist and as a person for his honesty.
