With the Holiday season in full swing, it means a new Carmelo Anthony signature sneaker is on deck. Jordan Brand has officially the Jordan Melo 11 that Anthony will be rocking for the rest of the season.
“When it was time to talk to the designers about this year’s model, I told them it was important for me to have a shoe that could keep my game fresh throughout the entire four quarters,” said Melo via press release. “Whether taking flight or landing, FlightPlate has great cushion, responsiveness and bounce.”
The Melo M11 features the same, top of the line FlightPlate tech found in the Air Jordan XX9 and a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot. The padded ankle and molded collar makes for a secure fit. The upper is synthetic leather and perforated for breathability
Initial colorways include a Concrete Island version (out Jan. 3) that’s an ode to NYC, a black/red/white Jordan Family version (out Jan 3.) that’s a tribute to Michael Jordan, a Red Hook Sunset version (out March 1) that’s a nod to his Red Hook birthplace and a black/gold version (out Jan. 3) to be named by fan vote.
