Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards also brought a trailer for season three of the Netflix series House Of Cards. Suffice it to say, the drama will return in full form when season three drops on February 27.
What can you pick up by scanning through 45 seconds of quick cuts from the upcoming season? Well, maybe a few things if you’re in tune with the shady workings of the Underwood Administration. Here’s 10 things we learned from the House Of Cards trailer. And oh yeah, spoiler alert.

Frank is having trouble with the Russians.
The trailer also brought the introduction of an Eastern European character named Petrov, who is the subject of a White House protest.
Claire gets another smash pass.
We already saw Mrs. Underwood get the green light to let Adam Galloway and Meechum hit the hot pocket. The all-to-familiar scene of Claire staring from the bed with that empty look means she may have gone for the three-peat. Did Petrov do more than just kiss Claire?
Remy survived.
Lobbyist and turncoat Remy Danton not only survived, but he’s working for Francis again in what appears to be a non-spy capacity. You know it’s real when Frank lets him into the Situation Room.
The White House does a terrible vetting job.
At some point during or after the impeachment, you’d think someone at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue would ask about Zoe Barnes, right?
Frank Catches (another) body.
If you’re a fan of House Of Cards, it only took two lines to get you fiending for the upcoming season. When Claire says, “We’re murderers, Francis,” OG Underwood replies, “We’re survivors.”
Gavin Orsay went legit.
After helping to set up Doug Stamper, Gavin (and presumably Cashew) appears to have gone legit with an FBI gig that includes a desk instead of working from his swanky crib.
Someone’s been talking to Lucas.
Is it just us, or does it look like Lucas Goodwin’s government sponsored vacation is taking place from a much rougher location. Odds are, Lucas got upgraded to a maximum security prison and put in solitary confinement for running his mouth.
Claire is cracking.
During season two, Claire wasted no time busting Frank’s chops and letting him know what was at stake. Judging from her multiple breakdowns and that ominous last line about being murderers, it looks like doing all that dirt is taking its toll.
Seth Grayson is still around.
After being hired as a mole by Tusk, Grayson was the one who actually found out Remy was a double agent too. It’s easy to see him turning on the Underwoods if the opportunity presents itself, unless…
Or is Seth Grayson the new Doug Stamper?
Because, we all remember what happened to Stamper.
