Hittmenn DJs President Rob “Kaspa” Smith announced today that his company, Atlanta’s world-renowned Hittmenn DJs, will be opening 5,000 Bank Accounts for urban children in conjunction with his Second Annual Bank Empowerment Tour.
“My goal along with Hittmenn DJs this year is a great project for all our communities. We would like to open over 5,000 bank accounts for disadvantaged children. We will open these accounts, AND we will teach youth the importance of economics, banking and finance.
Presenting children with this opportunity gives them the tools to reprogram the mind-set that exists in our urban communities as it pertains to finances. While America is in this recession, what better time to support children by teaching them how to be more involved in their own everyday life and business affairs. The children of today are the financial leaders of tomorrow. Lets give them a good start and you can and should help,” explains Kaspa.
The world-renowned record breakers started this financial endeavor last year but wanted to take it to another level. This program will be carried throughout the school year and in the 4th quarter. The Hittmenn DJs are also doing a sponsrship with the program where all the students will purchase the album of one artist. Kaspa added, “We are encouraging everyone to help us with this tour in any way that you can. We need your monetary donations to establish these accounts, promotionals, along with prizes, coupons, discounts, and school supplies for the children.”
