With a successful launch of his Adidas Boost sneaker, another award acceptance rant and non stop Kardashian slander, Kanye is back to being public enemy number one. He discussed this and more with The Breakfast Club.
Even though West hasn’t been on the show in the last nine months, his name has been ringing off in that studio like he never left.
DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God conducted another classic interview as they left no stone uncovered. They discussed his fashion ventures, marriage, Dame Dash, Amber Rose, The Grammy’s and more.
So without further adieu we present the top 10 things we learned from The Breakfast Club Kanye West interview.

1. Auto Tune
When asked why he does rely on the auto tune technology so much West says he needs it. It allows him to bend his voice in ways he can’t naturally like he did at the closing of “Runaway.”
2. The Grammys
He admitted his rant about respecting the artistry was hypocritical as he didn’t respect Beck’s win of the Album Of The Year at The Grammy’s. And yes he did not listen to Beck’s album until after the incident.
3. Yeezy Boost
It was Adidas’ idea to make limited runs of the Yeezy Boost. Also it was Adidas who set the $350.00 price point. Kanye wants as many people to have his product as possible as he didn’t have a limited run of College Dropout.
4. Beyonce
He does not have on a cape for Beyonce specifically, but wants all artists to be respected for the work they put in.
5. Paper Magazine
He explains the reasoning for taking the infamous Paper Magazine cover as using art to break classism. Previously her body wasn’t accepted and now it is.
6. Amber Rose
When asked about Amber Rose, he said if Kim dated Kanye when he first wanted to there would be no Amber Rose. He also denies that Kim was sending him nude photos while he was dating Amber. Also, he allegedly had to take 30 showers before he could get with Kim, after being with Amber. Damn, son.
7. The Kardashians
Kanye doesn’t think his association to the Kardashian family has hurt his reputation or business.
8. Dame Dash
He admits he wasn’t loyal to Dame by going with Jay Z. He decided to choose Dame to present him the BET Honors Award as Dame was the one who presented him to the world. When they finally reunited he saw that he missed the good, the bad and the ugly that comes from Dash.
9. The Music
He now prefers to build and talk about culture while recording in the studio as this serves as his new inspiration to write music.
10. North
He is already thinking about North’s future as he said “my daughter has a chance to be shaped like my wife”.
11. Hoop Life
When DJ Envy said it doesn’t look like one can really hoop in the Yeezy Boost, Kanye said the Adidas shoe is actually better for playing ball in than the first two Air Yeezy’s as the Boost technology offers more support when you’re active.
12. Tyga
Also he didn’t avoid the issue as he thinks “I think he got in their early; he’s being smart” when asked about Tyga and Kylie Jenner.
13. Ferguson
When asked why he jumps out the window for Beyonce but remained silent during the Ferguson riots he said “I can’t run in front of every bullet.” Is Kanye half stepping?
Bonus. Wolves
“Wolves” happened because Drake and Kanye West talked about making an album, and it was going to be called Wolves.
Bonus 2X. Farrakhan Is Family
AYeezy is working on a documentary about Minister Louis Farrakhan (that explains dinner). We definitely want to see that.
