Lucious Lyon, his sons, his ex-Cookie and the rag tag gang of players in their circle when through enough plot twists in a couple of hours that most shows have in a season.

Hakeem was pissed at Lucious because everyone is always pissed at Lucious. So he banged Anika. Hakeem clearly ain’t sh*t.

There was a gay sex scene. That is all.

Cookie and Anika finally scrapped, while plotting a hostile takeover of Empire. We think cookie got it.

Jamal won a rap battle by singing. Also, dudes named Black Rambo should never win a rap battle, though.

Apparently, Snoop Dogg has a cut of Empire Records now. Chuuch.

Andre’s singing therapist friend zones him for a record deal with the quickness. Light skin problems are so real.

The premise of Empire was that Lucious had ALS and had to pick his heir before he died. Well, Lucious doesn’t have ALS. But hey, presents for everybody!

Cookie thought about killing Lucious, and it was caught on camera. Awkward.

Jamal got gangsta and tried to pull a Suge Knight. This is what happens when you win rap battles.

After giving Andre that work with the hands, JC from New York Undercover can’t catch a break. Hey, snitches get stitches.

So Lucious’ real name is Jamal Walker, and he’s in jail. But really, why are y’all so petty?
