Fear
Tyrese is scared of heights, which is quite interesting considering the stunts he’s had to pull off for Fast & Furious movies.
Promo Run
Tyrese admitted that promo run for Furious 7 hasn’t been a walk in the park due to fans and critics asking about the late Paul Walker.
Not So Funny
A handful of comedians at a Justin Bieber roast took jabs at Paul Walker’s passing. While Tyrese was invited, it was Ludacris who attended. And we can all thank God for that, claims Ty, who says he would have surely reacted in defense of his late brethren.
Brother From Another Mother
Tyrese and Paul had been friends (and family) for some 13 years, which makes sense considering Tyrese is not close to his blood family as he grew up in a dysfunctional home. That explains all his multitude of house gatherings with his “like-minded” loved ones.
Green Lantern
Rumor has it, Tyrese is going to play the next Green Lantern. Although he didn’t confirm anything, he hinted at the fact that is work being done behind the scenes to make it happen. Shouts to his fan who planted the seed by Instagramming the artwork Tyrese as the superhero.
Empire
Tyrese was actually supposed to be a part of Empire Season 1, but was too busy fighting for custody of his child to focus on production.
Chocolate Is Spreading
Yea, so Tyrese has no qualms whatsoever with “ethnics” taking all the Hollywood roles (Deadline). In fact, to him, everything that’s going on with Hollywood’s diversification is a direct reflection of the times.
Dame Dash
Yes, weeks later and well into other people’s interviews, Dame is still being talked about for his comments on the working man being a “sucker.” Tyrese shared his two cents on the Hip-Hop mogul and gave him credit for making people “listen with a different ear.” Though, he admits that Dame could do a better job in delivering his message.
Black Rose
Black Rose serves as Tyrese’s final solo album. It will be a double disc and its release will be in conjunction with his book and documentary short.
The Man
Tyrese saved DJ Envy and his wife from getting a divorce. How? By showing up at a private dinner with back up singers and a guitar and singing the hell out of “Stay.”
