When you’re carrying around a loaded Ruger, it’s best that you not sleep. Case in point, a sleeping Queens man on the A train was arrested after being spotted carrying a gun.
Reports NYPD News:
NYPD Transit police officers recovered a loaded firearm from a man who was sleeping on a northbound A train in Manhattan early this morning. Police Officers Binagi and Lara were on the A train when a passenger approached them and stated he observed a sleeping man in possession of a gun in his pants pocket. The officers ensured the safety of passengers on the train and approached the sleeping man to investigate further. They immediately noticed a firearm protruding from the man’s pants pocket and removed it while handcuffing the suspect. The 29-year-old Queens man was arrested without incident and a loaded Ruger 9mm semiautomatic handgun was recovered.
