Twitter and Instagram mean fans can have instant access to celebrities, but that access is a two-way street. While some celebs are content to ignore or block their mentions, there are others to let the digital ether flow freely.

That’s when social media gets truly entertaining. The 15 celebrities that clapped back at fans listed below weren’t having it, and their lack of chill when checking the Internet’s thumb thugs was truly hilarious.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah

We’re not sure who @Awalk is, but he don’t want it with Oprah. Nooo! After asking why Oprah didn’t give back to the ghettos of America, Ms. Winfrey reminded him she’s put 500 black men through college as well as countless women. If clap backs were fatalities, dude’s head would be rolling around somewhere.

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant

Even other celebrities can feel the wrath of the clap back. Drake had a hot line on “Stay Schemin’” about how Vanessa was getting Kobe for $150 million in a pending divorce but she “wasn’t with him shooting in the gym.” Then Lady V reminded Drake she raised Kobe’s two kids, he apologized and properly fell back.

The Game

Game

For someone who has repeatedly proven he’s down to serve up a fade (and even video tape it) in public, Game catches a lot of disrespect on Instagram. He’s threatened to go WWE on fans, and sometimes he just treats trolls with the same kind of disrespect he would show a current G-Unit member.

Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant

It’s hard not to be a fan of Kevin Durant, but sometimes the feeling isn’t mutual. When Grantland EIC Bill Simmons kept harping on Oklahoma City’s botched James Harden trade, you got the feeling KD wanted to plant his surgically repaired foot knee deep in Simmons.

Amber Rose

Amber Rose

It’s safe to assume Khloe Kardashian won’t be tweeting at Amber Rose any time in the near future. Kanye might want to relocate the chill button too, because Amber takes out whole families 140 characters at a time.

Rihanna

We’ve learned Rihanna is quick to clap back on civilians and celebs alike. TLC, Ciara, and Celebuzz have all felt the wrath. The best part might be that Rihanna will hashtag the even with a simple #clapback so you know what just happened.

Janelle Monae

Janelle Monae

The “Yoga” video proved Janelle Monae’s been hiding the yams. When some thirsty fan clearly not schooled in the nuances of Twitter started trolling, Janelle hit him with the quick Heisman by tweeting, “Sit down. I’m not for male consumption.”

Chrissy Teigen

Mrs. John Legend will block a disrespectful fan quicker than Mutombo without the finger wag. When some Instagram user called her the dreaded c-word that rhymes with punt, she went all the way in on the sorry state of his life for being so insulting. She also had fun with fans who teased her “cry face” after Common and John Legend won a Golden Globe for “Glory” because she has jokes like that.

Jennifer Hudson

Ooops. Someone forgot J-Hud was from the Southside of Chicago, and we almost saw them get a first class ticket to Chi-raq.

Tank

Tank

Someone messed around and told Tank his woman looked like a man. Bad idea. Tank defended the mother of his child by throwing shade at the commenters “Chia Pet wig,” her chin, and her bummy outfit. Then he topped it all off by saying, “God bless.” Instagram is no place for the faint of heart.

Shonda Rhimes

Shonda Rhimes

Just because Shonda Rhimes is an Ivy League alum sitting on M’s doesn’t mean she refrains from the clap back. An out of line fan tweeted some homophobic opinions at her regarding some of the love scenes on Scandal, and she was quick to hit him with a #ByeFelicia.

Keri Hilson

Keri Hilson

“Ms. Keri Baby” isn’t down with thirsty chicks lusting after her NBA boo Serge Ibaka. She called such actions “hoe-ish” and urged the digital THOTS to have more self-respect. And when IG trolls tried to diss her for performing to a half-empty stadium, she clapped back again reminding them she just scored $100K for the performance.

Erykah Badu

Erykah Badu

Sometimes the best clap backs are the ones you don’t see. When Azalea Banks tried to throw disrespectful shade at Queen Erykah Badu, there was a low key response. But the best part was Badu turning on her location, subliminally inviting Azealia to get her Rapunzel wig snatched.

Steve Nash

Steve Nash

Former NBA point guard Steve Nash is a pretty mellow dude who has rarely engaged in beef. But when a Lakers fan got caught up in their feelings over Nash missing games, the 41-year-old told him to check his tongue or catch the fade.

Pink

Pink

Those who don’t remember “You Make Me Sick” may forget Pink came into the entertainment industry with some strong donkey game. When some concerned “fans” started mentioning her weight, she offered the classiest of clap backs by saying she was enjoying rest, cheesecake, giving zero f’s about their opinion on the matter.
