Jimmy Fallon’s “Wheel of Impressions” is the perfect trendbait. After Christina Aguilera broke the Internet with her on-point impressions of Britney Spears and Shakira, Jamie Foxx has followed suit with a few comedic imitations of his own.
After making fun of Rolling Stones’ frontman Mick Jagger singing “Hakuna Matata,” the comedy genius of Foxx summoned greatness when it was time to perform as John Legend singing the Toys ‘R Us theme song from all those commercials.
Foxx went over and beyond the :30 second bit and even imitated the R&B star’s facial expressions and mannerisms. Doc Rivers also got some extended face time as well.
The multi-talented star was on hand to promote his new album, Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses and definitely made sure his name rang out on the Internet’s highway.
As for Legend, unlike the other stars who got put on blast, he undoubtedly gave it his stamp of approval.
