The Goonies is one of the greatest films of all time—this is not up for debate. The beloved film is now 30 years old.

Sean Astin – Michael “Mikey” Walsh
After portraying “Mikey,” Astin grew up and is still a working actor. He’ll be collection those Lord of the Rings residuals (he played Samwise Gamgee) for the rest of his life. Win.

Corey Feldman – Clark “Mouth” Devereaux
The child actor dealt with substance abuse problems for years but it still alive and kicking. His taste in fashion is hella suspect, though.
Josh Brolin – Brandon “Brand” Walsh
Brolin grew up to be a renowned actor, with major roles in No Country For Old Men, Milk and more. Maybe more importantly, he’s Thanos in the Avengers flicks.
Robert Davi – Jake Fratelli
Also an accomplished singer, the character actor has been in too many movies to count.
Jeff Cohen as Lawrence “Chunk” Cohen
Chunk walked away from acting, went to college and is a successful lawyer. Swag him out.
Ke Huy Quan – Richard “Data” Wang
Data aka Short Round from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom still pops up at comic/sci-fi conventions but has been relatively living under the radar.
John Matuszak – Lotney “Sloth” Fratelli
Sadly, former NFL player Matuszak passed away in 1988 from an accidental prescription drug overdose.
Martha Plimpton –Â Stephanie “Stef” Steinbrenner
Plimpton developed into an acclaimed actress both in Hollwood and on Broaday.
Joe Pantoliano as Francis Fratelli
That’s “Joey Pants.” Nuff said.
Anne Ramsey as Agatha “Mama” Fratelli
Unfortunately, Anne Ramsey passed away in 1988. Rest in peace.
