Tha Dogg Pound
On October 20, 1999, Dwayne Dupree, bodyguard for Tha Dogg Pound was shot and killed outside a Los Angeles studio. Both Kurupt and Daz Dillinger were present at the crime scene.

The Run-DMC legend was gunned down in a Merrick Boulevard recording studio in Jamaica, Queens on October 30, 2002. Although several suspects were investigated, the murder remains unsolved.

Slim Dunkin
Waka Flocka Flame’s close friend and Brick Squad artist was shot to death in an Atlanta recording studio on December 16, 2011. The incident was said to be started over an argument over candy. Vinson Hardimon was later acquitted of the felony murder charge he caught.
50 Cent Vs. Murder Inc. Goons
Three years before he became the biggest entity in rap music, The Hit Factory studio in New York became a WWE Royal Rumble battleground where 50 Cent was stabbed, allegedly by Murder Inc. rapper Black Child.
The late Gang Starr MC saw one of his worst days on January 11, 1999 when he was pistol-whipped and robbed for thousands of dollars in jewelry as we was exiting a Queens, N.Y., recording studio in the early morning.
