Hank Baskett is literally out of his mind, but at least he’s staying in character. In a new interview with People, the former football player-turned-reality-tv-guy tells his side of the transgender cheating story.
Baskett says he never cheated on wife, Kendra Wilkinson, with a transgender model who claims he sought her out. The model also released an alleged recording of Baskett trying to pay her off.
The real story, Baskett asserts, is that he was just trying to buy some weed, and randomly fell into a three-way situation with two transgender women, but again he had no idea what was happening.
It all started when Baskett saw a couple smoking weed in a grocery story parking lot, so he approached them and asked to buy some (also, weed is legal in California with a prescription). They told him to hit up a house for the drugs. When he got to the home, he went to use the bathroom. “I saw something I thought I would never see in my life,” he said, explaining that a nude transgender woman apparently greeted him at the door and she was kissing another transgender woman.
Um, what?!
That’s not even the half of it. The women groped him (of course). Baskett was obviously powerless against sex-crazed ladies who couldn’t stop themselves from touching his man parts. But, he says he didn’t “engage,” he just stood there paralyzed with fear (of course). “It was like a bank robbery. You never know when you’ll freeze. I don’t know if it was a couple of seconds or 15 seconds, because all I was saying was ‘get out,’ ‘get out,’ ‘get out.'”
Um, what?!
Baskett finally broke free, and is now being blackmailed by the transgender woman who victimized him.
On a more pleasant note, Wilkinson, believes his story because it is, of course, extremely believable. “Hank was very naïve and gullible,” Wilkinson said. “He thinks everybody is his friend. That led him to the hell that we’ve lived.”
The couple is sticking together, and supporting their reality t.v. careers with this drawn out storyline. Wilkinson and Baskett currently appear on Marriage Bootcamp, and will talk more about the “cheating scandal” for the next season of Kendra On Top.
