1. Marvin
His new single “The Fix” features a Marvin Gaye sample. Even before recording any music he made sure the sample was clearable.
2. LL Cool J
Right before performing one of LL’s tunes at a tribute show, Mr. Smith told Nelly make me look good which is one of the rare moments he felt pressured before going on stage.
3. Floyd
He cleared things up and said he has no problems with Floyd Mayweather.
4. Reality
Nelly’s vision for his television was to show a single father raising his kids and highlighting a family’s love within Hip-Hop.
5. Rap Battles
When asked about his battle with KRS-ONE, he explained he dissed the Blastmaster because he didn’t want his kids to think that disrespect should be tolerated.
6. Clothing
Nelly still has his percentages in his clothing brands but is looking to do some new stuff in the near future when it comes to fashion.
7. Meth
The recent arrest with meth being found on the bus was thrown out. He stands firm that the drugs were not his.
8. Guns
Nelly is licensed to carry and conceal a gun in 33 states.
9. Marriage
Nelly is not getting married and if he was he would not televise it.
10. Apple Bottoms
Contrary to popular belief, Flo Rida’s “Apple Bottom Jeans” was not mean for Nelly. In fact Nelly first heard it on the radio.
