Black Twitter has struck again. #CivilRightsTwitter is all about applying comedic satire, nuanced slander, struggle moments or lit scenarios to iconic images from the Civil Rights movement.
The hashtag has been around for at least a couple of years, but the concept can be traced back to this Black Twitter 100 member Brokey McPoverty’s tweet right here:
