After riling up social media with more of her crazy banter last week, Stacey Dash has reached her version of a full circle moment. She wants an apology from everybody who dragged her for wanting to dead Black History Month and BET.

Dash tried to make a case on her blog by pointing to an old interview with the possibly immortal, Morgan Freeman.

The same trolls who attacked me when I endorsed Mitt Romney came out and called me all sorts of things, many of which I can’t even say here. Well, if you’re going to call me ignorant, stupid, and an Uncle Tom, you need to be intellectually honest and also call out Morgan Freeman.

What’s that you say? You didn’t realize that Morgan Freeman agrees with me that having a Black History Month is actually racist and a part of the problem in healing race relations in America?

Her demand is equivalent to screaming in an empty room, but the 49-year-old actress-turned-political-marionette wasn’t finished. She switched positions in another post about the “hysterical” backlash she’s been receiving:

I feel like many of your reactions — saying that I’ve sold out to white people, that I’m “coonin’” etc — show you aren’t hearing me. I’m not saying we as black people deserve LESS respect.  I’m saying we deserve MORE.

Black History should be apart of social studies and history curriculum EVERYDAY OF EVERY MONTH OF EVERY YEAR. not just 28 days out of 365!!!!

In a hundred years, do you really want the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr, Frederick Douglass, and even Barack Obama to be discussed only in the month of February?!

Black history IS American history.  We are not a category or a special interest group.  We are Americans.

Unfortunately for Dash, she’s late to the backpedaling party. This won’t earn her any extra points, and Gabby Union still doesn’t know this “crazy lady.”
