Katt Williams made bail and pinpointed the source of his struggle. The troubled comedian told a waiting reporter the reason for his various legal troubles—besides being under “daily attack” like “most Christians”—is because he’s a Black celebrity.
Oh.
“If you’re a white celebrity, they say it’s swatting, and they don’t let it happen. If you’re a Black celebrity, they haven’t invented the word yet,” Williams told WSBTV shortly after making bail and walking out of Fulton County jail.
Being a Black celebrity doesn’t make you, allegedly, punch pool store workers, choke out your bodyguard or fight women taking your photos, though.
Just saying.
