Looks like Drake is done with Moscato and ordering something a little stronger from the bar. The Canadian-rapper is coming out with his own American Whiskey called Virginia Black.
Virginia Black whiskey comes via a partnership between Drake and spirits maker Brent Hocking, the man who created DeLeon Tequila and later sold it to Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2014.
Drake first shared images of the Virginia Black bottle on his Instagram in March.

Drake then shared a promo video and a picture of him holding the whiskey Thursday night.

In a statement to Billboard magazine Drake and Hocking said:
“We believe everyone should have access to glamour, swagger and soul. Virginia Black grants them that access, allowing people to embody the lifestyle always, not just on special occasions.”
Drake is the latest in a long list of rappers endorsing and owning liquor brands. Diddy made history with his marketing of Ciroc, Jay Z put Ace of Spades and D’Usse on the map and 50 Cent shouts Effen Vodka any chance he gets. In recent years E-40 has rolled out two wines, a mixed cocktail and a 40-ounce beer that is named after him.
Before you go hitting the bar looking for this stuff, know that Virginia Black has no release date. But, expect it to be soon with Drake’s highly-anticipated album Views From The 6 debuting on Apple Music on April 29.
