After more than a decade of animosity and drama, New York rappers Prodigy of Mobb Deep and Tru Life of Ghetto Inmates have resolved their long-standing feud.
The two rappers appeared together in a pic posted on Prodigy’s IG page with the caption: Welcome home @therealtrulife positive vibes last night with the homies.
The two have been at odds since 1999 when Prodigy blessed Life with an exclusive verse only to turn around and use it on the Any Given Sunday movie soundtrack, voiding Life’s right to use it for his own project. From there things quickly escalated to an ambush at a studio Mobb Deep session that was documented in one of those hood favorite QD3’s Beef DVDs.
Since then both men have seen time behind bars for different offenses and as anyone who’s spent time behind bars will tell you, that time alone will help put the bigger picture in life into a better perspective.
Tru took to his own IG page to add his assessment of the moment.

““Part of becoming a man is being able to learn how to reconcile differences,and I thank God for allowing me and @prodigymobbdeep to grow as men and reach that point,” Life wrote on his post next to a flick of himself and the Queens rapper.
With 2016 already having seen 50 Cent and Game squash their beef along with Fat Joe and Jay-Z putting their differences aside to make some good music together, maybe there’s still hope for Ja Rule and 50 Cent to get together and sing harmony on the same track.
