YG‘s 2014 modern negro spiritual “My N*gga” or “My Hitta” is still making waves. Legendary West Coast Hip Hop icon DJ Quik is raising hell for not getting his share of the song’s profits.
In a since deleted Tweet, DJ Quik blasted Stampede Management for not getting him his credit or money for engineering the hit record.
Quik actually went on a brief Twitter rant on the issue, but all of the tweets have disappeared.
YG has responded to Quik threats with a tweet of his own.

Quik is developing a long history of being left out when it comes time for credit on tracks. He has long argued that he programmed the drums on 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” but never received credit.
