For the last week Trevor Noah and Charlamagne Tha God have caught quite the backlash on social media for sharing space with ultra-conservative campaigner, Tomi Lahren.
Today the host of The Daily Show dropped by The Breakfast Club to break down his stance on the controversy that was born out of his interview with the divisive blonde Trump supporter.
Sitting down with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee, Trevor talks about being illegally born in South Africa, that picture of him and Tomi Lahren getting drinks after the interview, and how racism should be treated.
Here are the 9 things we learned from Trevor Noah on The Breakfast Club.

1. Illegally Born
When Trevorâs interracial parents were a couple in South Africa is was against the law due to Apartheid system of segregation. Technically his birth and overall being was illegal in the eyes of the law until it was abolished when he was 6-years-old.
2. Misogynist BehaviorÂ
Trevor wasnât too fond of so-called progressive people calling Tomi Lahren âc*unt, âb*tch,â and other degrading terms as itâs just another misogynistic way of belittling someone they donât agree with.
3. That Picture
Contrary to what people have said about that picture of Trevor and Tomi going out for drinks, Trevor says he did not go out on a date with Tomi. He and his producers linked up with her and her producers to thank them for their time and let them know that they werenât with the social media bashing that Tomi was getting after her appearance on his show. But when they took the picture in question his peoples were cut out. And no, he doesnât have a crush on her.
4. What Platform?
He doesnât feel heâs providing a platform for Tomi Lahren based on the fact that her videos garner hundreds of millions of views on their own.
5. White Woman Privilege
As far as people saying he only interviewed Tomi because sheâs an attractive blonde conservative woman, he feels people are only talking about the interview because sheâs an attractive blonde conservative woman. He wonders why no one notices when he interviews conservative white men on his show.
6. Racism
Noah has a theory that racism should be treated as a disease and not a choice explaining that racism is passed down hereditarily like alcoholism. It can be taught and rear its ugly head early on or down the line.
7. The Delta Dumba**
He feels that the fool who got banned on Delta flights for screaming anti-Hillary rhetoric is lucky he only got banned on Delta flights and didnât get a more severe punishment.
8. Fidel Castro
Trevor feels he isnât read up enough on Fidel Castro to form a proper opinion on him. Too bad Colin Kaepernick didn’t have this answer in his chamber before infuriating an entire Cuban community.
