10 Things We Learned From Faith On The Breakfast Club
Keeping with the theme of the 20th anniversary of the passing of The Notorious B.I.G., his ex-wife, singer Faith Evans, dropped by The Breakfast Club to further celebrate the memory of the Black Frank White.
Chopping it up with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God, Faith gets into a few new stories about Big Poppa including his having unreleased material floating out there, her reaction to Big’s jab to Faith on “Brooklyn’s Finest,” and that time she fought Lil Kim on Christmas morning.

1. Biggie’s Death
Even though LAPD won’t say what happened, Faith says she and Mrs. Wallace feel like they know what happened. But she still doesn’t feel she has any closure.

2. Atlantic Records
Atlantic/Warner acquired Biggie’s masters from Puff, so Faith actually did a deal through them, not Bad Boy. We’re kind of surprised Puff sold his man’s masters. Than again, we’re not.

3. Base Reference
Faith said she’s using some of Biggie’s reference records he did for Junior Mafia for The King And I album.

4. Unreleased Verses?
Faith says she used to drive Big around to numerous studio sessions for verses she’s never heard, so she knows there’s more unreleased material out there. Can anyone step up, please?!

5. Lil Kim
Faith won’t say she and Lil Kim are friends, but that they’ve gotten past their old beef ever since Biggie died.

6. Coogi Cut Up
Biggie once cut up her Coogi clothes because Faith purposely tried to make Biggie miss his flight.

7. Stevie J
Faith says she used to brush off Stevie J’s advances in the beginning, but after a few months he eventually convinced her to give it a shot. They’re not together anymore.

8. Brooklyn’s Finest Diss
As far as the Biggie line on “Brooklyn’s Finest,” “If Faith have twins she probably have Tupac’s” Faith said she never said anything until after CJ was born. Once she asked Big about it he started crying and apologizing. She also reveals she was pregnant with twins but the second one didn’t develop.

10. Tupac
She admits that she lost respect for Tupac after he slandered her on “Hit ‘Em Up.” Faith says that Biggie knew she was going to do a record with Pac and had Big protested it she wouldn’t have done it.

11. Lil Kim Fight
The second time Faith fought Lil Kim she thought it was Charli Baltimore that was in the bed with Big. It was on Christmas too.
