There’s only a few days left until The Fate Of The Furious drops so you knew two of the film’s stars, Tyrese and Ludacris, were going to pop up on your favorite morning show.
Dropping by The Breakfast Club, Ty and Luda touched on a few subjects with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God including Bill O’Reilly’s hypocrisy, Tyrese’s comments that made Black women turn on him for a second or two, and how he inspired Mary J Blige to get back in the studio.
Here’s the 9 things we learned from Tyrese and Ludacris on The Breakfast Club.

1. Bill O’Reilly
Ludacris says he once ran up on Bill O’Reilly at The White House Correspondents Dinner and had a man-to-man talk with him. Because of that he can’t judge Bill like Bill did him.
2. Tyrese Talks Black Women
Tyrese says his controversial words were taken out of context and he never attacked women with weaves. He does feel women shouldn’t “go too far” to appeal to men because it reaches a level of “buffoonery.”
3. Ty’s Perference
Tyrese says he’s never dated a Latina or white woman (note the word “dated”). He says his personal preference is Black women.
4. His Wife’s Ancestry
Tyrese wrote “My Black Queen” referring to his multi-ethnic wife because her ancestry test revealed she’s 46% Black.
5. Tight Pockets
Tyrese doesn’t go to strip clubs because he’s “cheap as hell” but if he does go he “recycles the rain.” In other words he picks up his own money to throw it up again.
6. Pepsi
F. Gary Gray shot Ludacris’ Pepsi commercial that never aired because of Bill O’Reilly.
7. TGT
As far as that TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine & Tank) album, Tyrese says Ginuwine wants “an equal split” but apparently Tyrese feels a ways about that. He does feel they’ll eventually figure something out and do it for the culture.
8. Mary J Blige
Tyrese says he told Mary J Blige that she “represents the strength of a woman” and that the conversation they had led to Mary recording a lot of her album in his backyard.
9. Fan Ageism
When he performs Tyrese prefers that his audience be “grown-ass” women and not 16-year-olds. He wants to see they mama’s there.
