A basketball shoe is only as good as it is comfortable, which naturally helps its user perform at high level. Nike has upped the ante with its all-new React cushioning, which will debut in the forthcoming Jordan Super.Fly 2017 and Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 shoes.
Nike React is a result of the brand’s innovation team putting in months of time fine-tuning foam cushioning to the specifications of world-class athletes. Due to all the running, jumping, cutting and m0re, basketball players are uniquely qualified to offer guidance, and debuting the new tech in basketball models only made sense.
NBA Champion Draymond Green actually debuted the Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 during Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Jordan Brand spokesman Blake Griffin will be rocking the Jordan Super.Fly 2017.
Hip-Hop Wired was able to wear test both kicks and they live up to the billing and hype. Big men may lean towards the Jordan Super.Fly, which takes aesthetic cues from the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 11. The Hyperdunk is still the pinnacle of Nike Basketball sneakers and utilizes a Flyknit upper for breathability, light weight and ease of movement. Both feature Nike React cushioning below a rigid shank plate and “data-informed traction patterns” on the outsoles for grip.
Both shoes will be available globally on August 3.
