Remember when Donald Trump said he would ride for people in the LGBTQ community? Well surprise, he lied.
Today (July 26), the Burnt Sienna President took to Twitter to announce he will not be allowing transgender people willing to die for our country to serve in the military.
“After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow……….Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming………victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you.”
Yes, this guy really wrote “in any capacity.”
This a textbook slippery slope. Who’s next? Homosexuals? African-Americans? See where this could be going?
Be clear, this has nothing to do with “medical costs.” It’s a political move to keep Trump’s base of conservations racists and bigots happy, period.
