Marvel’s Black Panther movie starring Chadwick Boseman in the lead role has been on the minds of fans since the film’s announcement and the appearance of King T’Challa in Captain America: Civil War. With the film getting released during Black History Month next year, Black Twitter is quite lit right now after the trailer dropped.
For two minutes and 18 seconds, viewers are pulled into the mythic, technologically advanced world of Wakanda under the regal leadership of T’Challa, the Black Panther. With stars such as Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan as the villain Erik Killmonger, the eternally fine Angela Bassett, and The Walking Dead star Danai Guira all getting shine in the clip, the reactions have been nonstop since the trailer made its debut Monday.
We’ve added the trailer below again just for information’s sake but we’re also added reactions below and on the following pages. Also, salute to Boseman who is playing another Black hero in Thurgood Marshall in the film Marshall in theaters now.
Black Panther hits theaters on Feb. 16, 2016.
