The above LL Cool J inspired lyrics were part of one of the many emails that biology professor Dr. Tyrone Hayes wrote to Syngenta, a company that makes herbicides to protect corn crops from weeds and which he accuses of harming people’s health and the environment.
In his own words, Hayes tells The Atlanta Post about why he’s been fighting the makers of the chemical that helps with corn production in the U.S, why he chose to fight back via rap lyrics and why he won’t back down regardless of how the world thinks a prestigious academic like himself should handle things.
