CyHi The Prynce’s been quietly becoming one of your favorite rapper in the game without you even knowing.
The ATLien went from the trap game to the rap game becoming one of Kany West’s ghostwriters (apparently he strangely has many) and it now ready to step out of the shadows and embrace the spotlight.
Today CyHi dropped by The Breakfast Club to chop it up with the morning trio about working with Kanye West, battling “Nas” while he was growing up in the A, and why he feels rappers having ghostwriters is a must these days.
Here are the 7 things we learned from CyHi The Prynce on The Breakfast Club.

1. 7 Day Theory
CyHi says Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo was done in 7 days. Kinda Makavelian. He first met Ye around the time My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy dropped.

2. Credit Score
Prynce says Kanye “overly pays” people for the record saying that if anyone contributes even an opinion about a record he’s working on that person is getting a writing credit. Much props and respect for spreading the love.

3. Nas
Growing up CyHi honed his skills by constantly battling Nas in rap cyphers. Well, not Nas himself as it was just another young’n using Nas’ lyrics without any of the ATLiens in the circle knowing who Nas was at the time. This was before the internet age. He didn’t find out till years later he had been duped.

4. One Hit Wonder
CyHi says that Kanye wrote “Famous” on the last day of the making of the album.

5. Ghostwriters
CyHi feels that if a rapper already conquered the game they’re allowed to have ghostwriters if only for competition purposes when dealing with bigger pop stars who have entire writing teams.

6. Blessing In Disguise
CyHi says he’s glad he got out of his Def Jam deal because the label had too many big name artists like Pusha T and Big Sean as priorities over him.

7. Highlight Real
The Prynce confirms that he did in fact pen “FourFiveSeconds.” He calls that the highlight of his life.
