President Barack Obama will have The Roots play during his “Moving America Forward Rally” this Sunday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Roots and popular Power 99FM DJ/TV host DJ Diamond Kuts will perform during President Obama’s rally, which will take place in the park next to Robert Fulton Elementary School.

After the rally, both The Roots and Kuts will get the opportunity to meet with the president who is on the campaign trail to rally support for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Joe Sestak and gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorat.

As previously reported, the President recently talked about is Hip-Hop preference in a Rolling Stone Magazine interview.

“My rap palate has greatly improved,” President Obama told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. “Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I’ve got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert.” 

The “Moving America Forward Rally” will take place Sunday (October 10th) at 3:00PM.

Robert Fulton Elementary School is located at High St. and Germantown Avenue.
