This week’s episode of Black Ink Crew opens with Ceasar admitting to the staff that the missing money was all just a “misunderstanding,” a clerical error, if you will. He says that “if Kit tells me money is missing, then money is missing.” But, um, Kit isn’t an accountant either, so there’s that. Sky’s tight now, for good reason; now that Melody has quit her manager position, she’s stuck in NYC having to manage 113th and Ceasar is headed back to the A.
Donna shows no remorse for her accusations that ultimately led to Mel leaving Black Ink. “Mel’s a bad ass manager anyway. And nobody needs her holier than thou attitude,” she says in her confessional. We’re liking Donna less and less this season.

We’re not the only ones done with Donna either. She ends up moving in with her boyfriend Mo, who seems reluctant to the idea. Her claim is that the 52-year-old woman she’s been staying with just “turned out to be f*cking psycho.” She tells him that the woman changed the locks on her, so she “had” to break her window from the outside and climb in. She also says that she’s been paying her rent on time, in cash. We want to see receipts, Donna! Because we already know you’re not the best tenant, Sky would agree. And she’s your friend.
Kit ends up having to defend herself against Sky for her $10,000 mistake. She points out that her miscalculation isn’t what made Mel quit, and that it was the accusations from Donna that landed them with no manager for 113th. But Sky isn’t hearing her, instead she goes in on Kit for being Ceaser’s plaything and ol’ girl just ends up walking out. Good idea. Because Sky can go from playing to hooking in less than a minute if she’s worked up.
Kevin Leroy reveals that he’s never officially come out to his father about his homosexuality. He says that after finding a love letter addressed to him from another man, years before, his dad flippantly said, “We ain’t doing that.” And that was the end of story. Still, after a number of years, Kev felt that it was necessary to be clear with his dad about his sexual preference during his next visit to NYC. After a bit of palpable tension, his father reassures him that his love is unconditional regardless of Kevin’s life choices.

Meanwhile, Ceasar heads back to work in Atlanta and immediately finds that the shop doesn’t run as smoothly without Sky being there. He calls her for assistance from Harlem and she cusses him out.
He’s also taken on the task of “cutting off” his female companions, but Persuasian (his main?) takes his hesitation during dinner to mean that he wants her as his girl and for whatever reason he doesn’t correct her. To be honest, Ceasar’s acting is wack this season. Prior seasons had him in a much more sincere light. We’re not sure what the producers are trying to do here.
Young Bae moves her boyfriend Rob into her place this week and gives him the least amount of space possible.
Sky visits Mel at home, that particular night, “home” is in a Brooklyn parking lot. She’s hoping to convince Melody to return to her post at the shop and fails miserably, even after offering triple the salary.
Finally, Ted comes to 113th to reveal that Donna’s roommate issues have been documented in a local news segment called “Help Me Howard.” He pulls the expose up online and the whole crew gathers around to watch as the roommate shows holes in the drywall, broken windows and more. The woman also shares that Donna hadn’t been paying rent the entire time she was staying there.
The crew agrees that Donna definitely has all of this behavior in her so the woman has some validity. That is, until she comes up to the shop with her daughter and starts a brawl. Maybe she is a little crazy after all.
