BET is set to air their 4th annual BET Honors paying tribute to six iconic celebrities in music, arts, service and education.
The celebration took place on January 15th at the historic Warner Theater in D.C and will air on Monday, February 21 at 9 PM EST.
This year’s honorees are legendary actress, Cicely Tyson (Theatrical Arts); Academy Award-winning actor/musician/comedian, Jamie Foxx (Entertainer); supermodel/entrepreneur, Iman (Service); publishing mogul, Linda Johnson Rice (Media); world-renowned musician/composer, Herbie Hancock (Musical Arts); and accomplished historian/educator, Lonnie G. Bunch (Education).
Boris Kodjoe and his wife Nicole Ari Parker, along with African-American owned beverage company Fever Stimulation Beverage and Hennessy Black hosted the Official BET Honors After Party at DC’s hottest nightclub, Park and 14th.
Boris and Nicole heated things up with celebrity guests Jamie Foxx, Cedric the Entertainer, Hill Harper, Marsha Ambrosius, LeSean McCoy, Aaron Maybin and AJ Calloway.
Guests enjoyed the signature cocktail of the evening – Jungle Fever – made with Hennessy Black, Kiwi-Strawberry Fever, Pineapple Coconut Fever, Mango Banana Fever, Peach Schnapps and Sprite.
