Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Announce Babies’ Names!
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon welcomed their new additions to the world last week and today Carey announced the names of the babies on her website. Moroccan Scott Cannon is their son’s name and Monroe Cannon is their daughter’s name.
Monroe was named after Marilyn Monroe and her son’s name was derived from the scene of Nick’s marriage proposal, the Morrocan-inspired setup of Mariah’s top floor of her apartment.
The babies were born on April 30th, the same day as their wedding anniversary.
Nick Cannon said he can’t top the anniversary gift given to him but with Mother’s Day coming up expect more news from the celebrity couple.
