Nicki Minaj Plays Principal For The Day
The students at Collins Academy High School in Chicago got a surprise visit from Young Money’s own Nicki Minaj as she took over the school for a day.
The school won the Get MotivatED challenge to help boost student attendance and Nicki showed up to teach an English class, award three students with $10,000 college scholarships and sit with MTV’s Sway to address the students.
Ms. Minaj told the students, “As a business woman there isn’t a single day where I don’t use my education or acquire new knowledge to ensure my success…Regardless of where you are today, with education you can take yourself where you want to be. That’s why I am working with the Get Schooled Foundation.”
