MC2MC: Sha Stimuli Talks With Maybach Music Emcee, Pill

In an exclusive interview following the listening session for Maybach Music’s Self Made Vol. 1 LP, Hiphopwired.com spoke with Atlanta rapper, Pill.

Since Rick Ross snatched up rappers Pill, Meek Mill and Wale, he wasted no time putting out an album showcasing his talent on the label. Self Made Vol. 1 hit stores yesterday and we talked with Pill about his involvement on the LP and how fast The Bawse made this release happen.

“When I first signed to Maybach guess what happened? Video, 5, 6 songs, next couple weeks, couple more songs…photo shoots, going to Vegas, flying to Miami, and I was like damn the ink ain’t even dry yet,” Pill expressed.

When we asked him about his biggest accomplishments so far, the XXL Freshman Alumnus said, “Headlining a few festivals solo, not really having no big push behind me. Just everything going on period when it comes to me outside the traps of ATL.”

He went on to say, “I come from the depth  and I’m able to actually rise up and show other people that it’s actually possible for them to be somebody and actually take those circumstances that they’re surrounded by and turn it into positivity.”

Check out the in-depth convo with one of the shining stars on Ricky’s roster.
