When rappers beef, it usually ends in a fight or even a shootout.
However when R&B cats beef, the end result is usually somewhere between twitter smiley faces and radio appearance where they state everything is “cool.”
While there may not be a lot of action that results from R&B beef, it is entertaining to think what if these R&B “beefs” really did result in an all out brawl?

Ciara Vs Keri Hilson
There have been many rumors that these two long legged R&B beauties have beefed on many different alteracations,the latest being the two got into a verbal dispute backstage at a Power Lives concert.
Ciara made sure to even throw some jabs at Keri Hilson in one of her songs,
“See I was out buying Chanel bags, while I was doing that you turned up your swag (you got me)/ Yup, caught me slippin’, but get your hustle on shawty I ain’t trippin’/I let ya in the game free / shawty whole album sound just like me/ Say you weren’t talkin’ bout me, but I know that you was talkin’ bout me!”
Winner: Ciara
If they actually went all out in a brawl, we have a feeling Ciara’s hard body just isn’t for show.
Jaimie Foxx Vs Terrance Howard
R&B singer/Actor Jamie Foxx, called out Terrence Howard to “come holler at me” after Howard apparently trashed his music while out promoting his own album.
Foxx told radio host Big Boy he was putting Howard on blast following an interview on CNN where the other actor turned singer remarked “that Jamie Foxx’s music ‘wasn’t that.’”
In return, Foxx dismissed Howard’s own CD, which he says went “plastic.”
Winner: Nobody
Both have played tough roles in movies but do you honestly think they would throw down?
Ray J Vs Jeremih
There was an altercation between Ray J and Jeremih.
Its reported that Jeremih was a little touch feely at Ray H’s 30th Bday party, walking through the party trying to put his jawn on a few ladies.
Well one of those ladies happened to be Ray J’s girl, and Ray J was having that!
After a short lived altercation Jeremih left and the party continued.
Winner: Ray J
I don’t know much about Jeremih, but I do know that Ray J does hang with a couple of goons. So if this becomes a battle of who wins by goon association, it’s definitely Ray J.
Chris Brown Vs Frank Ocean
We know how the twitter beef got started, when Chris tried to compliment Frank and Franky didn’t take it the right way, this happened..
“I f— with Frank Ocean! Reminds me of a young James Fauntleroy or Kevin Cossum” Brown tweeted.
“[I] f—s wit chris brown, reminds me of a young sisqo or ike turner” Ocean shot back. “[I] just dont like underhanded comments. thats all im saying.” From there it was all downhill following the OFWGKTA words aimed at Brown.
“[It] was a compliment you b—h A$$ n—a. Everybody claim to be the devil till they meet him,” tweeted Brown. “[F]–k odd future! Make sure y’all smalltime n—-s stick yo chess out when u speak to me.”
After a few more exchanges between the two that also saw Tyler jumping in the mix, the beef appeared to die down towards the end of night.

Like Ray J, Chris Brown may hang with some goons…but Frank Ocean has a bunch of crazy adolescent skateboard kids on his side, who I bet would be willing to do work for Frank and Tyler
Lyfe Jennings Vs Raheem Devaughn
Lyfe Jennings hit the 103 Jamz studio in Norfolk, VA and called out Raheem Devaughn for supposedly mentioning his name.
The DJ informed Lyfe that DeVaughn was in town, so Lyfe told DeVaughn to call up to the station so he could see what was up. Literally 10 minutes after Lyfe left the studio, Raheem Devaughn shows up with his entourage of about 6 guys at the station looking for Lyfe.
At first, DeVaughn was hesitant about doing an interviews because he wanted to “talk” to Lyfe face to face; however, he sat down and talked about the beef and how he reached out to Lyfe and wants to talk man to man.
Winner: Lyfe Jennings
With that track record, we know Lyfe is bout that life!
Chris Brown Vs The Dream
In an interview with Billboard Dream revealed he has beef with the teen crooner over comments Brown made regarding his hit song “Bed.”
“The track was considered for Chris Brown — he thought it was his — but it was my record and I decided to give it up to J. Holiday,” The-Dream explained to Billboard.com. “Chris said the record won’t be No. 1 unless he’s on it. I bet someone $500,000 that it would go to No. 1 and I collected my money just last week.”
“He has a track from me now that I was paid for already and I want to give him his money back. At the end of the day, I’m big on principle and loyalty. Put that to bed.”
Winner: Dream
Although we know Chris would probably squash the Hamburgler in a brawl, the fact that you don’t get to work with one of the biggest and most successful pop writers of this era is a loss all over
Usher Vs Ne-Yo
While doing a promo interview for his album in the UK, Ne-Yo was asked what he thought of his peers. Speaking on Usher he said,
“You can’t put out top quality grade A and then gimme B’s and C’s after that, I can’t accept it. The Raymond vs. Raymond album isn’t a bad album but it’s not ‘Confessions’. So even though I may like some of the stuff that is going on right now, it’s not ‘Confessions”
However, Ne-Yo was quick to distinguish the spark before it can grow by saying,
“Again, I don’t want nobody to think I got beef with Usher,” he says. “If I don’t like something personally, I’m gonna say that; I have no beef with Usher.”
Winner: Usher
After a 2 hour pathetic scratch match between the two, we think Usher and his chest of armor would finally come out victorious.
Ciara Vs Rihanna
The feud began after Ciara said Rihanna “wasn’t the nicest” when the two ran into each other a party recently. Those comments sparked a back and forth between the two.
The feud was short-lived however as Rihanna apoligized for going in on her through Twitter and Ciara accepted.
Rhianna wrote, “Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup.”
Ciara wrote, “Rhi u know its always been love since day 1!

These two don’t want nothing with beef! Who insults someone and then apologizes minutes later?! Well, if they did throw down, I’m not saying I would choose Ri-Ri, but she’s had experience. *Ducks down for Ri-Ri fans*
Pleasure P Vs Trey Songz
During an interview with Angela Yee, Teairra Mari and Yee discussed working with R&B artists Trey Songz and Pleasure P.
However, Yee raised a lot of eye brows when she added that “I know Trey and P don’t like each other, so is that going to be a problem with you working with Trey?”
Immediately many tried to find out the cause of the beef, but Angela Yee admitted she was wrong and cleared up the rumors with a conversation with Trey himself
“Pleasure’s cool, Pleasure just tweeted about my album yesterday. Shout out to Pleasure. Actually it’s crazy bc one of my first big shows back in 2005, it was me, Pretty Ricky and Teairra Mari. So that’s crazy, I still got the picture and all that. So just to hear that conversation about us 3, that’s dope.”
